04 Nov DIRTGIRL concerts the whole family can dig!
Children’s TV stars DIRTGIRL and SCRAPBOY are on their way to The Greenhouse of Orange at Orange Ex-Services’ Club for three very special shows next week.
DIRTGIRL and SCRAPBOY are the duo from the hit children’s TV show dirtgirlworld, which introduces children to the joys of outdoor play and sustainable, green living.
The ABC TV series is a distinctive blend of live action and animation, which takes the audience to a world in which the real and unreal collide in a celebration of life outside.
Bright and green garden beds at The Greenhouse of Orange will make for a perfect backdrop for live performances, set to feature onstage games and singing-along songs during three separate exclusive outdoor shows on Thursday 8 November 2018.
Dirgirl, Maree Lowes, says these three upcoming shows aren’t just another stop on a tour calendar. She hopes these shows will bring together, excite and inspire children and parents from the region for these rare performances.
She says it will be a performance for the whole family to dig!
“I always thought that oranges were just a fruit. Turns out that it’s a totally cool town too,” DIRTGIRL said.
“We’ll be having a dance on stage.”
“We can’t wait to come and rock the stage and have a dance with you. Maybe even a gumboot boogie!”
The three shows are on at 10am, 1pm and 4pm in The Greenhouse of Orange. Tickets are $35 per person and include a meet & greet with the entertainers. Plus, there’s a free double pass for any group booking of 30 or more.
